About Me
I’m Zack—an author, educator, and strategist with more than fifteen years analyzing markets, consumer behavior, and competitive trends for one of the largest cable companies in the country. I led the research and analysis behind competitive strategy, drove market insights that shaped product decisions, and built economic models that helped the company understand disposable income, churn, and housing-driven behavior.
But long before all that, I was just trying to make sense of my own spending. Over the last decade plus, I developed a practical framework for avoiding debt and taking control of money in a world that profits when you’re confused. That work led me to write The Cost of You, a book designed to help people spend smarter and build lasting financial stability.
Today, I’m focused on writing, speaking, and educating—bringing financial clarity to audiences who feel left behind by traditional advice. Whether I’m breaking down economic systems on stage or helping someone understand their spending for the first time, my goal stays the same: help money make sense.
I take on a small number of mission-aligned consulting projects when they make sense—especially work that supports underserved communities and aligns with my broader mission of helping people make clearer decisions.
